The City of Pickens is proud to welcome Meagan Nations as our new City Clerk / Human Resources Director, beginning June 15, 2026.

A lifelong resident of Pickens County, Meagan takes great pride in serving the community she calls home. She brings eight years of experience as Clerk to Council for Pickens County Council, where she developed a strong foundation in local government and administrative leadership.

Meagan earned her Master of Business Administration from Anderson University in 2024, further strengthening her commitment to professional excellence and public service.

Outside of work, Meagan enjoys spending time with family and friends, serving at her church, and cheering on the Atlanta Braves ⚾

In her new role, Meagan looks forward to continuing her service to the citizens of Pickens while supporting our dedicated city employees.
