Introducing Pickens Proud

Every month, our City departments report to City Council on what they’ve been working on, and there’s a lot of good news in those reports that most folks never get to hear.

So we’re starting something new. Pickens Proud is a series where we’ll share the wins happening across the City of Pickens: grants that save taxpayer dollars, milestones from our police and fire departments, youth sports success, improvements around town, and the employees and volunteers who go above and beyond for our neighbors.

Our first stories are coming this week. Watch for the Pickens Proud graphic, and follow along with #PickensProud.

Where the Mountains Begin, and where we’re proud to serve.
