Native American Celebration at Hagood Mill Historic Site

Pickens, SC — In honor of Native American Heritage Month, Hagood Mill Historic Site will host its Annual Native American Celebration on Saturday, November 21, 2026, from 10:00 AM to 4:00 PM. This signature event celebrates the rich traditions, music, and artistry of Indigenous peoples across the Southeast.

Enjoy a full day of performers and demonstrators, including Native American drumming, traditional dancing, and a hoop dance performer, along with live music, artisan vendors and food. The full lineup will be announced soon.

The 1845 water-powered gristmill will operate throughout the day, grinding fresh cornmeal and grits available for purchase. While you’re here, visit the Hagood Creek Petroglyph Site, South Carolina’s only petroglyph site open to the public.

Primitive camping is offered Friday and Saturday nights (November 20–21) for $10 per person for one night or $15 for both nights (ages 10+). Camping passes are available with tickets below.
